Level 1-all surfaces start with 10 juggles to pass to next surface.

1. One bounce any surface (ball can bounce between touches)

2. No bounce any surface – measure max total juggle amount like normal EPD testing

3. Dominant foot

4. Dominant thigh

5. Non dominant foot

6. Non dominant thigh

7. Head

 

Level 2Combinations - players again start with goal of 10 touches.  Surface Combos must alternate surface every other touch.

  1. Dominant foot/thigh
  2. Non dominant foot/thigh
  3. Dominant foot/head
  4. Non dominant food/head
  5. Dominant laces/non dominant laces
  6. Dominant instep/non dominant instep
  7. Dominant outside/non dominant outside
  8. Head/shoulders

 

 

Level 3On the move. Players now start back at the beginning of the surface cycle but have to travel 20 yards without letting the ball touch the ground.

  1. One bounce any surface
  2. No bounce any surface
  3. Dominant foot
  4. Dominant thigh
  5. Non dominant foot
  6. Non dominant thigh
  7. Head

 

Level 4Combinations on the move. Players must travel 20 yards while completing combo juggles and must alternate surfaces without letting the ball touch the ground.

  1. Dominant foot/thigh
  2. Non Dominant foot/thigh
  3. Dominant foot/head
  4. Non dominant foot/head
  5. Dominant laces only/non dominant laces only
  6. Dominant instep only/non dominant instep only
  7. Dominant outside only/non dominant outside only
  8. Head/shoulders
 

Level 5 would be the same as Level 3 with 20 yds of movement to a line, but then the player turns and returns 20 more yds to starting line using the same surface structures.

Level 6 would be the same as Level 4 with 20 yds of movement to a line, but then the player turns and returns 20 more yds to starting line using the same surface structures.

Levels 7 and 8 are on the run! Ask Coach Ben for the curriculum if you’ve gotten this far!

 

State Director’s Juggle Club

Juggling will be included in each session to encourage players to practice with the ball at home.

RULES

- Must be a member of EPD

- Each player gets 3 tries, and the top two scores are combined for the final score.

- Must be seen by a coach.

- Must start with feet. - Can use other body parts, but only feet touches count.

- No bounces between juggles.
